Why it has to be an authorised agent
He-Man only certify approved agents to carry their name and their lifetime warranty. Fit a genuine set through Howes Controls and it's backed for life; fit through a non-approved installer, or a generic kit, and you're typically covered for 12 months at most. We've been the authorised agent since 1989, so ask us for proof if you'd like to see it.

A few things worth knowing before you pick a service.

If you need us to come to you, start with mobile fitting. If you are still unsure, ring us with the car's make and model and we will tell you plainly.
DVSA does not publish a blanket rule that every instructor car must have them, but its own guidance leans hard that way: motorway lessons with a fully trained pupil must be in a vehicle fitted with dual controls, and failing to explain how the dual controls will be used counts against you in the part 3 test. In practice, dual controls are standard equipment for teaching.
Yes, but treat it as a modification you must declare. Tell your insurer the controls have been fitted, and expect to need instructor or driving-school cover rather than an ordinary private policy if you are teaching. Do not assume a standard policy carries over.
